Process for Selection
The school coordinator where the student is applying will recommend students for the award and submit the required information to the Foundation.
Representatives of The Howley Foundation will review the candidate information and make a recommendation for selection.
Once a student has been selected as a Howley Scholar, they will be awarded a 4-year scholarship. In order to keep this scholarship they are expected to maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a scale of 4.0), be involved in at least one extracurricular activity per semester during all four years of high school, remain in good academic and disciplinary standing, and attend the annual meeting with members of The Howley Foundation.
