Video: The Power of Partnership: Learning about the School Management Organization

Partnership Schools got its start in New York City where they turned around several low-performing Catholic schools. In Cleveland, their initial goal is to preserve two of the area’s finest Catholic academic institutions—St. Thomas Aquinas and Archbishop Lyke. The Howley Foundation served as the lead funder in bringing Partnership Schools (a school management organization/SMO) to Cleveland and engaged other community leaders to raise the remainder of the $3 million needed to implement the Partnership model at the two Cleveland Schools. This video highlights the perspectives of teachers and staff in the first year with Partnership Schools.
